We are looking for an experienced software Sales Executive to drive new business for a rapidly growing Life, Group/Voluntary Benefits and P&C insurance application software sales team.  You will be responsible for qualifying, developing, and closing software license, maintenance, implementation and other services revenue with Tier 1 to middle market insurance carriers.  Candidates should have experience in selling application software such as policy administration, claims, billing, analytics, and surrounding application software and services. 

Candidates must have a strong track record of calling on C-Level and customers in leadership positions and in developing and closing software and services business.  Insurance industry is very important. Strong bi-lingual – French and English language skills are required. Relationship building skills are essential both with customers, but also internally. 

Strong compensation base and commission, benefit plans and a chance to be part of a growing sales team with a state of the art product. 

Location: Montreal, Quebec preferred or Toronto, Quebec if French speaking
 

  • Facilitate the strategic software sales process
  • Identify, develop and close insurance application software and implementation services deals
  • Lead the RFx process
  • Quarterback the product demonstration process
  • Maintain a understand of the life, group and voluntary benefits, P&C or healthcare insurance business
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in B2B, enterprise software or services sales
  • Established relationships and presence within the insurance marketplace strongly desired
  • Extensive experience and knowledge of the Insurance industry preferred
  • Record of meeting and exceeding quota
  • Demonstrated strategic and analytical sales approach with focus on building relationships with clients
  • Thorough understanding of the enterprise sales cycle and show a methodical approach to moving opportunities through this cycle
  • Superior writing, oral communication, liaison and representation skills
  • Ability to perform as self-starter who can effectively work within a strong team culture while being independent in managing his/her business
  • Ability to analyze market trends and business data to identify new market potential.
  • Proven capability to negotiate effectively; balancing value and time to close
  • Demonstrably high levels of business/financial acumen
  • Possess the ability to understand complex client strategies and tactical requirements and to clearly articulate the company’s offerings to develop solutions that deliver value
  • Life, P&C and/or Group and Voluntary Benefits software sales experience ideal, but ERP, CRM or other enterprise application software strategic sales process experience is required.
